This year treat your holiday guests to a little taste of the Great lakes Bay Region.  Here is a list of our local holiday food and drink suggestions:

Frankenmuth Breweries Christmas Town Ale. This American Spiced Ale is the perfect holiday beer with subtle hints of nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and clove.

Heather ‘N Holly Caramel Popcorn. A perfect combination of sweet, salty and crunchy. This midland treat is an absolute must have item at your holiday party. Stop by Heather ‘N Holly and sample all the different varieties of popcorn flavors.

Artigiano’s Cheese Platter. Great for parties large or small, Artigiano’s of Bay City offer a wide variety of cheese from all over the world. To compliment cheese assortments they offer cured meats, aged maple syrup, handmade crackers, flavorful preserves, stoneground chocolate, and olives.

Forgotten Ciders “The Wildling”. A great compliment to your favorite holiday dishes, The Wildling is a dry cider with a touch of sweetness. Although the tasting room is closed for the season, ciders can be purchased at Cork N Ale, Eastman’s party store and LaLondes.

We suggest using Napolitano bread as your main ingredient when making holiday dressing for your loved ones. You can purchase Napolitano bread at Jack’s Fruit and Meat Market and Meijer.

Frankenmuth Cheese Haus Father Bolger Cheese Spread. A three-cheese blend of sharp cheddar, blue cheese and cream cheese. This creamy cheesy spread makes for a perfect snack with meat and crackers.

Huron Fish Company Seafood and Fish: Huron’s downtown Saginaw location has been providing the freshest seafood in the area for over 25 years. They offer party trays, lobster tails, crab legs, shrimp, a variety of smoked fish and so much more!

Zehnder’s of Frankenmuth Stollen Bread. A traditional German item served with Zehnder’s of Frankenmuth famous family style chicken dinners. This fruit and cashew filled bread can be purchased in the bakery, and is also available frosted.

Baynes Apple Farm Pies. Leave the baking to them, you won’t regret it! Freeland’s Baynes Apple Farm pies are our holiday dessert of choice. Although we are partial to their many varieties’ of apple pies, Baynes also makes pumpkin, blackberry, rhubarb, raspberry and so many more! Sugar free options available.

Morning Emporium Coffee: Ground or whole bean, The Morning Emporium of Saginaw offers over 32 different types and flavors of coffee. Holiday flavors include Chocolate Carmel Cookie, Nice-Sweet Vanilla, Naughty-Dark Chocolate and Peppermint Bark.

Meats and Mooore Hickory Stick: Bay City’s Meats and Mooores homemade hickory stick is a great addition to your holiday cheese plate,. Hickory Stick flavors include cheese, cheese and jalapeño, German bologna, 100% beef, green olive and our favorite teriyaki chicken.

Grape Beginnings It’s Casual Pinot Gris. Grape Beginnings of Midland It’s Casual is a fruity and sweet white cranberry Pinot Gris, a great bottle of wine that goes wonderfully with holiday fare.
